The tiny village of Kampi lies on Zante’s western coast, the dramatic cliffs at the edge of the village look out to the Ionian Sea and boast the best sunset views on the island. It’s a one-road village with many authentic Greek tavernas, make sure you’re here for the Sunset as you cannot beat the view. Even in the heart of the summer Kampi has cool refreshing evening breeze to let you enjoy your breathtaking view and delicious Greek village meal.
Best time to head up to Kampi is a couple of hours prior to the sunset. Our favourite taverna there is 'Michalis', great food and breath taking views. To get there you need to head up into the hills of the North West of the Island. Be careful of the sharp bends, there are various ways to get there depending on where you are coming from, so use our 'Google Maps' GPS guide to get you there best. Always remember to leave your car locked, in gear with hand brake on, lights switched off and keys stored somewhere safely. If you have an open top car close the roof for safety and possible rain shower.
